MILK AND BLOOD

Over the decades I have pondered how to best share thoughts emerging deep within the soul. Wisdom stems from years of research and experiences, grafted from university study to independent travel programs imbued with lessons from people, cultures, and world religions.

Can anyone realize effective truth when clouded by the confusion of pain? Genetic cesspools can proliferate throughout generations. Witness painful, unfulfilling marriages, broken hearts biting back, the suffocation of debt, and the drudgery of jobs keeping from who we feel we are. Can fearful hearts and splintered minds open to the possibilities of what we can be? Whether stuffed in subconscious corners or blatantly appeased in mirrors, we spend countless moments sharpening defense mechanisms to protect us from experiencing pain. When unable to channel the power of wisdom, chains strangle, concurring with degrees of suffering. Attachments impede realizations of our full individual and global potential. Release links. Radiate transformed depths of pain.

We deserve the happiness and fulfillment available to human beings. Like a newborn child feasting on mother's milk, we can be filled. First witness scars and wounds upon souls. See the blood from painful experiences. Shout, “Wake Up!” Open a spiritual eye when pain pours in.

I'd love to write poems and parables about the sweet milk of hope and fulfill yearnings for everlasting happiness.  I'd like to share lush gardens where we lounge in our positive imagination, or assure innocent children of tomorrow's bright dawn when adversity and pain disappear. First wipe away negative attachments. Then realize shared light.

Achieving lasting peace and harmony is more than a political process. Get free from our chains of pain, then unite with families and neighbors to share in God's abundance. For this, make clear choices. Open to truth within your soul. Due to our histories, truths appear red from blood stained pain. Where's lucidity? Rather than candy-coat pain, be bold and forthright. Resolve mysteries of existence that clutter thoughts, emotions, and choices. Ignorance clouds feelings. Accept responsibility. The time is ripe to understand Earth. Organize our priorities. Get free from inhibiting chains. Embody foundations of true happiness.

A third of this book consists of fictional stories or parables. Ponder what the truth within your soul. Some sentences might disturb and shuffle inner pain. This is good. When settled, take time to recognize truths and allow these to empower choice and action.
